Six Fridays of baby development, thoughtful play, and connection with other local parents.
Wondering what your baby is learning before they can even walk? Come spend Friday mornings with other Lakeview parents and babies in a calm space made for little ones.
In this six-week parent and baby class, you’ll learn how early movement, attention, language, and everyday interactions shape your baby’s development. Your baby can explore at their own pace while you get practical ideas for play and daily life at home. There’s time to ask questions, get to know other parents, and simply enjoy being with your baby. Feeding, soothing, and taking breaks are welcome.
The class is guided by Mridul Bhandari, an AMI-trained Montessori consultant with a Master’s in Education. A former chemical engineer, experienced teacher, and mother of two, Mridul brings a thoughtful mix of developmental knowledge and practical parenting experience. The space and activities draw on Montessori principles; no Montessori background is needed.
Across the series, we’ll explore how babies learn, movement, early communication, choosing simple play materials, setting up a welcoming space at home, and supporting growing independence. The conversation will follow the babies and the questions parents bring.
