Summer temperatures may have been rising, but so was the excitement at camp! This week was all about staying cool, staying active, and making the most of every sunny day.

Our favorite way to beat the heat? Water fun! Campers had a blast running through splash pads, cooling off with water balloon games, and enjoying plenty of laughs during our outdoor adventures. There’s nothing quite like a summer afternoon filled with sunshine and water play.

Between splash breaks, we visited local parks where campers played soccer, basketball, tag, and favorite camp classics like Sharks and Minnows and Mr. Fox. Whether scoring a goal or simply cheering on a friend, everyone had the chance to build confidence, teamwork, and friendships.

Back at camp, campers continued making their own snacks and helping care for our shared spaces. It’s been wonderful watching them become more independent and eager to lend a helping hand throughout the day.

Open play has also become one of the highlights of camp. From building elaborate forts to creating imaginative games and exploring on nature walks, campers found endless ways to turn simple moments into big adventures.

Every day this week reminded us that some of the best summer memories are made outside—with a little sunshine, a little water, and a whole lot of laughter.
