FAQs
Below are some frequently asked questions.
Arrival & General Policies
Q: What is the arrival process for families?
A: When you arrive, we want you to feel right at home! Please take off your shoes and coats and place them in the designated area. Park your stroller or scooter in our "foyer." To ensure a clean space for everyone, please wash or sanitize your hands. If you have any food or drinks, please find a place for them in the kitchen area. Check in with our staff to pay or verify your membership. Then, let the kids play and feel free to relax (or join in the fun!)!
Q: What is your shoe policy?
A: We are a shoe-free zone! Please remove your shoes at the entrance to help us keep our space clean and germ-free. You are welcome to bring slippers to wear. Since we don't have carpets, we recommend grippy socks or clean bare feet for comfort and safety.
Q: Are you a nut-free facility?
A: Yes, we are a nut-free zone to ensure the safety and confidence of children with severe allergies.
Q: Do you accommodate children with allergies?
A: Yes! We have an allergy-sensitive high chair available upon request. Please ask our team for assistance.
Q: What is your pet policy?
A: We do not allow pets. Service animals are permitted in the front area only and are not allowed in the play or kitchen area.
Screen Time & Adult Space
Q: What is your screen time policy?
A: We prefer children stay off screens while in the play area. If your child needs screen time, they can do so in the adult/front couch area.
Q: What is the adult space and working policy?
A: There are times when many parents are working, and our team will guide children into the play area to allow adults time to work and connect. When there are fewer adults, children are free to roam. If you need to take a call, please find a quiet corner. Adults can use tables in the living room or kitchen area for work. We ask that computers and phones be kept out of the play area.
Cleanliness & Hygiene
Q: Where are food and drinks allowed?
A: Food and drinks are only permitted in the kitchen table area. We kindly ask that you help us maintain a clean environment by cleaning up after yourselves. Our team is dedicated to keeping the play area clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Q: What are your cleaning procedures?
A: We prioritize cleanliness and hygiene with the following measures:
During Play:
Our team constantly works to maintain a clean environment, addressing spills and messes promptly.
Heavily used toys are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
Designated "yuck" bins are provided for toys that have been soiled or placed in children's mouths.
Cleaning wipes and sanitizer are available for caregivers.
After Hours:
All toys are sanitized with disinfectant spray every evening.
A professional cleaning crew disinfects floors, surfaces, and restrooms nightly.
Restrooms and sink areas are always stocked with antibacterial soap and paper towels.
All cloth coverings, rugs, and blankets are regularly laundered.
Q: What is the policy about toys that children put in their mouths?
A: We have designated "yuck" bins throughout the play space. Toys that have been soiled or put in children's mouths are placed in these bins, and then thoroughly washed and sanitized before being returned to the play area or disposed of.
Reservations & Events
Q: Do I need to make a reservation to come play?
A: No, you do not need to make a reservation for regular playtime! We understand that kids and schedules can be unpredictable, so we are open for drop-in play during our normal business hours.
Specific programs or events that require advance planning or RSVP will be clearly noted on our calendar.
Members will also receive discounted prices and early registration access to RSVP for special programs.
Important: Reservation-specific programs will never interfere with our open playroom access during normal business hours.
Q: Do you close for private events?
A: We do not close our general business hours for private events. We offer private room rentals for groups during normal business hours.
We do offer full-space private rentals after our business hours and on our closed days. Please contact us to discuss options and availability.
Our family members and business hours are set for everyone.
